The best way to get to know a school is to visit and see the children engaged in their learning and play.
The school holds open mornings throughout October. The dates are available from the school office – office@stjohnevangelist.islington.sch.uk
All admissions
All new admissions to St John Evangelist Catholic Primary School are dealt with by the school’s Governing Board. You can download (see bottom of page), or collect the forms, which you need to complete and return to the school.
Children starting in Reception
If your child is between 4 and 5 years of age and wishes to start in Reception, you will also need to go to www.islington.gov.uk/admissions to apply online. The closing date for Reception admissions is 15th January each year. Both the online forms and the school’s forms need completing by this date.
Nursery
Children are able to start nursery in September for the beginning of the school year if they have had their third birthday before the 31st August. We have a mixture of full time and part time places. Closing date for Nursery is 15th January each year.
