Jupiter Class trip to Three Discovery Centre

On Friday, Jupiter visited Three Discovery in Angel for a computing workshop. Students had the opportunity to learn and use two iPad apps: Clips and GarageBand. Clips is an app that allows students to showcase their knowledge and learning by creating their own educational videos. During the workshop, students worked in small groups to produce short videos demonstrating their knowledge of the Amazon Rainforest by recording audio and video, and incorporating images from Google along with animated clips. GarageBand is an app that enables students to create their own music. Working in pairs, students composed original songs using a variety of instruments, loops, and pre-recorded beats.

Jupiter are looking forward to using their new iPad skills across other areas of their learning and sharing them with their peers.
