London Fire Brigade Visit Year 5 and 6

The fire service came into school to teach us about the dangers of fires in the home and how to protect ourselves. We learnt to make sure we don’t plug in too many appliances into one outlet, how to safely escape from a fire, and about the damage that fire can cause to our belongings. The most important lesson that we learnt was to check our smoke detectors every month to make sure they work!
