St Hilda Candlemas Celebration

Today we explored the meaning of Candlemas. We visited the church, where Father Rajiv blessed our candles, to remind us that Jesus is the light of the world. Father Rajiv also blessed baby Jesus, as we explored how Christians in Mexico celebrate Candlemas. We then came back to class and had a procession with our candles and then ate pancakes, like Christians in France do.
