St Justin and St Joan to the Science Museum

On Friday 30th January, Year 4 and 5 students from St Joan and St Justin class enjoyed an exciting visit to the Science Museum, linking closely with their current science topic on electric circuits and conductors. Throughout the day, students explored a range of interactive exhibitions, deepening their understanding of how electricity works and how different materials can conduct electricity.

A highlight of the visit was time spent in the Wonderlab, where students enthusiastically engaged with hands-on activities, investigating forces, light and electricity through exploration and play. They also attended an engaging Wonder Show, where they learned about the different states of matter through exciting demonstrations and scientific experiments.

Students had the opportunity to explore many other fascinating exhibitions across the museum, sparking curiosity and encouraging thoughtful scientific questions.
