Our Church

Our Parish Priest is Fr Rajiv Michael and Assistant Priest is Fr Daniel Daley.

Both of our Priests are very involved with the Catholic Life of our School and are frequent visitors to assemblies and classrooms (occasionally they also drop in for hot chocolate with the ‘Stars of the Week’!)

The whole school and parish community are invited to attend Mass at the start of each term and for Holy Days of Obligation. Fr Rajiv and Fr Daniel visit individual classes to work with the children to develop their understanding of their faith and the children regularly visit the Church to learn about individual aspects of their faith e.g. to take part in a Baptism or to walk the Stations of the Cross or to pray.

Classes attend Mass on a weekly rota and Fr Daniel visits the class before Mass so they can discuss the Gospel and readings the children will hear. This supports the children to be active participants in the Mass.

Come and Pray with us

Each week a class welcomes Fr Rajiv or Fr Daniel to lead a prayer session with the children and their families. Please come along for your child’s prayer session. These take place on Tuesday mornings at 9am and you will receive a notification the week before and a reminder on the morning.

Weekly Class Mass Dates

Every week, one class visits the church to take part in weekday Mass with the parishioners. In KS2, the children are responsible for the readings and they prepare and read the bidding prayers. Children are taught how to write bidding prayers and speak confidently in Church by their teachers and Fr Dan.
